Art holds an amazing power to connect people, cultures, concepts, and history. The possibilities of what art can do fuels my ambition to create solutions that impact the implied audience.

I'm inspired by the world around me and I'm deeply grateful for all of my life experiences. As a creative, I'm innovative, organized, and driven. My curiosity leads to the discovery of new avenues for design ideas and my passion for people allows me to excel at teaching others and build relationships.

I'm eager to continue learning and acquiring new skills as the design world changes. I also look forward to collaborating with new companies to develop strategic, creative solutions that make sense for their brand, and help them reach their goals.

Hello! My name is Lauren Tomsich and I possess a hard-working, positive and fun attitude and I strive to help companies communicate in a way that captivates the implied audience. I love to be innovative and I work to give users an amazing experience through design and strategy. I am a Grand Valley State University (GVSU) graduate, who majored in graphic design and minored in marketing.

"I’ve known Lauren Tomsich for many years, and have rarely seen such determination in a young person – or an older person for that matter. Throughout her high school career and her time at Moon Marketing, I have seen her time and again set goals for herself and put in 100% effort to reach them. Even when facing adversity, Lauren doesn’t let it bring her down; it only makes her stronger.

As an Inbound Marketing Intern for Moon Marketing, one of the things I liked most about working with her was that she worked very hard to learn quickly, put 100% effort in, and got things done on time (or early!). A bit on My career

Hello! My name is Lauren Tomsich and I am a young, passionate, designer. I am a senior at Grand Valley State University; majoring in graphic design and minoring in marketing. While attending college I joined Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), NSCS (National Society of Collegiate Scholars) and I remained on Grand Valley's Dean's list since I began college. I also studied abroad at Kingston University in London over the summer of 2017.

I started doing graphic design work in 2015 for Moon Marketing. Prior to that, I had taken an entry level commercial art class and was in the process of finishing a second commercial art class at H. H. Dow High School.

The design work that I have done for companies includes: brand identities with brand guides, postcards, ebooks, social media posts, flyers, posters, website design, event programs, infographics, menus, and other promotional and digital materials. Grand Valley’s graphic design program has allowed me to explore different creative directions for the projects that we are assigned.

I am eager to learn and I love to help meet other people’s needs and solve their problems. Contact me and we can work together to get your design needs met.

Getting To Know Me

I grew up in Midland, Michigan, where I found my passion for the graphic design world. I chose to attend Grand Valley State University because the campus is amazing and it has an outstanding, respected graphic design program. Grand Valley has provided me with great opportunities including; sorority leadership, networking events and studying abroad. When I was studying in London, my favorite place to visit was Scotland because it was so peaceful, lush and green. Studying abroad also gave me an appreciation for different cultures and taught me how to visually engage and design for a vast array of cultures.

Learning is something that also gives me great pleasure. I enjoy watching Ted Talks and reading books because I want to better understand the world and things that interest me. I strongly value personal interactions and making connections with others. In my free time, I prioritize spending time with friends and family, volunteering, and working on personal projects.
